Letterpress is an old technique for printing - just the way books and newspapers were once printed. Letterpress involves setting lead type, placing and locking into a chase, and printing on a specialised press.  There are many types of old presses. The one seen here - that I do most of my smaller printing on - is a manual Chandler & Price Pilot Press.
